Apr 9, 2010 · Don’t know what the thin one does, but not power. It’s so difficult to reach there that you may have to stick pins in the wires to get at the voltages. There must be a relay for the pump in the fuse box, but don’t know which one. If changing pumps, the electronics can be separated.
May 10, 2011 · The vehicle will rise, then drop and settle. Measure the height. Take the average of the 2 measurements. Dimension " L1" for checking the front height is measured between the flat section "b" on the underside of the front subframe and the centre line "a" of the road wheel.

Sep 21, 2014 · You're going to need a strut. BTW, always replace spheres in pairs. They're both spring and damper ("shock absorber"), and you wouldn't replace those unmatched. There's been some debate in the Citroen Club magazine of late about the life expectancy of C5 spheres. CitUK's line is that they never need replacing.

Oct 20, 2006 · As its under warranty I got it back to the dealer and they changed the COM2000 unit. It was ok for a couple of days then became harsh again. Back again to the dealer and they changed the BHI. It has since been better but still has periods when the ride deteriates. I raise and lower the suspension regularly (Citrobics) which sometimes seems to help.

On a series of shallow humps (about 2 m long and 5 cm high) on my daily commute the critical speed is 18 miles an hour, and I can drive on the same humps at 30 miles an hour without any discomfort or fear of damaging the car.

Oct 3, 2008 · The Mark 1 (ugly front) C5's had H3+ suspension with sports mode on the 2.0 petrol models, 2.2 diesel and the V6. I think that the Mark 1 exclusive came in a 2.0 and a 2.2 diesel, but only the 2.2 had sport mode suspension.
